Why we made this?

"JOY" SHIRTDRESS IN SEABREEZE

Our Joy Shirt Dress will be the most hard-working dress in your wardrobe.  She’s a slight departure from our other more relaxed fit styles like ‘Hope’ and ‘Bliss’.  Crisp white trims on the cuffs, collar and a button-through border sit alongside a very flattering silhouette which flares gently from the quilted-belt cinched waist. A nod to my ‘city job’ days when a shirt-dress was my go-to ‘uniform’ of choice, she’ll take you from board meetings, to boozy lunches (do people still do those?).

NOTE: This item is created using traditional block printing methods and is hand-made by artisans. The 'print' therefore is not always in the same position as shown in these images and can contain minor unique variations.

Style Notes

The Seabreeze print is a nod to nautical freshness and is just begging for red accessories.  Team it with tottering heels for the perfect sundowner cocktails.  She’ll look just as good with some pretty red wedges if a walk to the pool bar is in order.  I’ve paired mine with a little raffia bag for a summer vibes and another pop of red with my Lagom SK earrings.

Fit

We’ve worked hard to make sure the sizing is consistent with the average UK brand so take your ‘usual size ‘ as brands like Next, LK Bennet and Boden. This style comes up slightly generously so, if in between sizes usually, go down (e.g. if you are sometimes a 10 and sometimes a 12, take the S/10 in this style). See size chart below. XS = 8, S = 10 through to XXL = 18.  We will also custom make any size if not in stock.
