Why we made this?
‘DEE DEE’ BATIK
Warm rusts, creams & navy on an exquisite print inspired the ancient Batik artisans will flatter almost every skin tone. This dress will work wonderfully layered for colder seasons, and paired with tan sandals for warmer climes. Made of soft sustainable EcoVero fabric and digitally printed exclusively for us, this gorgeous dress is super flattering and ever so versatile. She’ll transition across seasons and occasions.
Gently elasticated on the waist with a flattering tiered skirt that’s not too billowy and not the straight - just right! Long sleeves with a shirred cuff that can be ruched up to make am elegant three-quarter sleeves. Tassel tie a couple of inches from the V-neckline should you want a higher neckline.
NOTE: This fabric is 100% certified EcoVero a fabric made utilising the pulp of trees which are responsibly sourced and replanted. It should be gently hand washed or dry cleaned. Screen printing techniques by hand make for a unique artisan look.
Style Notes
For winter, layer with cream knits or our Cashmere poncho in Midnight. Belt for a waist-cinching silhouette. For a daytime look that is both cool and comfortable, pair with taupe boots and a wide tan belt, pop on a denim jacket. Fin is wearing an up cycled jacket from @JeanGenie_Denim.
Fit
This is a relaxed style and should fit fuller and smaller busts comfortably. Fin in the photos is 5ft 2’ and so is maxi on her however will look great as a midi on a taller person too!

- V-neck with a tie should you wish to close it a little (though it’s not particularly deep V)
- Slightly fitted on the top with a ‘gently floating’ tiered skirt (so flattering!!)
- Lightly elasticated waist (so comfy to wear!)
- Self-fabric belt, 5CM wide cinches gathered waist (nice worn on the neck too)
- Midaxi length
- I’m wearing the XS and I am 5ft 2 inches, it sits about 2 inches above my ankle – I wear Sz 8 usually and this is true to size.
- Full length sleeves
- Wide shirred (elasticated) cuff, can be pulled up to, or above the elbow
- Sleeves are wide enough to ensure it’s comfy to wear
- Cold hand wash to preserve the colour but will wash in the machine too (gentle cold cycle) ❄️
- Size Up if you are particularly full busted

Destiny in navy ikat, is a good all rounder. I’m happy that this dress can be worn in the summer and then go into the autumn with some boots. Love the dress and the colours 👏
Had my eye on this for a while… and it arrived -perfect fit and lovely quality. Could be worn at any time of year. Am wearing chunky sandals at the moment, but it’ll be fab with tights and boots. Have had other dresses from this company, always excellent. The owner Fin delivers a warm and personal service, and a lot of work goes into such quality.
I love to wear dresses and found this brand on Instagram. I ordered this along with Hope Khaki Jungle and have to say that I absolutely love them both. They're well made and the sizing recommendations were spot on. Because of the flattering style and fantastic prints, I feel relaxed and confident wearing them. I really love my new duster/dress. Fabric is lovely, and it’s beautifully made. I purchased from the States and waffled back and forth on sizing. In the end, I chose the XXS and it was smaller than I had hoped. It will work fab as a duster, but I’ll need to shed a couple of pounds if I want to button it up and wear as a dress! That’s totally on me…but now I can confidently select the right size on my next purchase.
