Our ‘Joy’ is one of those dresses that will become your go-to for so many occasions. The ‘Chestnut’ fabric will transcend seasons – a black collar looks so chic and edgy.
With a tailored shirt fit on top and a skirt which flares gently from the quilted-belt-cinched waist, this comfortable, easy-to-wear style will suit almost every body shape.
NOTE: This item is created using traditional block printing methods and is hand-made by artisans. The 'print' therefore is not always in the same position as shown in these images and can contain minor unique variations.
Style Notes
Fin (photographed) has achieved a sassy street-style by pairing hers with statement fishnet tights and black ankle boots, finished with a neutral Trilby-style hat from Olivia & Gray.
Joy looks just as good in the boardroom, paired with slick court shoes and a fitted blazer.
If a Party is on the horizon, layer over faux leather leggings and strappy black heels – layer with statement gold jewellery and a dark red clutch, and you’ll definitely make a that effortlessly chic statement!
Fit
We’ve worked hard to make sure the sizing is consistent with the average UK brand so take your ‘usual size ‘ as brands like Next, LK Bennet and Boden. If you are fuller busted, size up for a more relaxed fit across the chest. See size chart below. XS = 8, S = 10 through to XXL = 18. Fin is 5ft 2 so it’s just an inch above her ankle. She wear an XS/8.

A great dress with a classy but fun print. Great quality, and a very flattering cut. Definitely something to be worn with confidence. Sizing is generous, so if in doubt, size down. A large in New Day Originals is usually a perfect fit for me, but medium worked better in this style.

Had my eye on this for a while… and it arrived -perfect fit and lovely quality. Could be worn at any time of year. Am wearing chunky sandals at the moment, but it’ll be fab with tights and boots. Have had other dresses from this company, always excellent. The owner Fin delivers a warm and personal service, and a lot of work goes into such quality.
I love to wear dresses and found this brand on Instagram. I ordered this along with Hope Khaki Jungle and have to say that I absolutely love them both. They're well made and the sizing recommendations were spot on. Because of the flattering style and fantastic prints, I feel relaxed and confident wearing them.
