'HONOUR' IN BLACK BLOSSOM
For the lovers of black – here’s a print that will work across the hotter months and transition perfectly into cooler months. We love the contrast of the pinks and blue blossoms against the crisp black cotton. Hand printed in small quantities, if you only buy one dress this year, it must be this beauty!
The cotton ‘shirred’ (otherwise known as elasticated) bodice will flatter both fuller and smaller busts. Wear on or off the shoulder, Bardot style. The elasticated cuff on the sleeve means you can wear it pulled up above the elbow or as a three-quarter sleeve for extra chic creds. We’ve designed her with a gently flowing ‘tiered skirt’, the same as our ever-popular Hope Dress – one of the world’s most flattering silhouettes.
NOTE: This item is created using traditional block printing methods and is hand-made by artisans. The 'print' therefore is not always in the same position as shown in these images and can contain minor unique variations. All our dresses have pockets and come with a self-fabric belt.
Style Notes
Like all our dresses, they’re designed to take you from informal daywear to evenings out and even Special Occasions. This would look super as a wedding guest dress paired pink heels, belt and matching clutch. Dress down with black raffia wedges and an oversized straw tote for days spent exploring Mediterranean cities. Layer with black boots and chunky knits in pops of pink when winter comes round.
Fit
We’ve worked hard to make sure the sizing is consistent with the average UK brand so take your ‘usual size ‘as brands like Next, LK Bennet and Boden. This style comes up just right and the shirred elasticated bodice and gathered waist offers a little sizing flexibility. Fin is wearing the XS , is 5ft 2 and it sits on her ankle but will look just as good on a taller silhouette.
