Why we made this?

'HONOUR' IN EDEN

Romantic, timeless, elegant, flattering - not to mention versatile and sustainable. ‘Honour in Eden’ - with a name like that she has a lot to live up to!! 

‘Honour’ is everything we love about a dress. A flattering silhouette delivered by a shirred bodice, (elasticated in other words!), a gentle tiered skirt, capped off by accent sleeves that can be worn on or off-shoulder. Cool cotton that keeps you feeling comfortable and fresh all day.  

We haven’t even started to talk about this stunning Eden print - hand-printed by artisans using traditional Screen Printing techniques. It’s like a tapestry - exotic birds, flowers & foliage casting us back to the beginning of time - when Adam met Eve… (or was it Harry met Sally 🤷‍♀️).

NOTE: This item is created using traditional block printing methods and is hand-made by artisans. The 'print' therefore is not always in the same position as shown in these images and can contain minor unique variations. All our dresses have pockets and come with a self-fabric belt 

Style Notes

With so many accent colours the sky is the limit. We love to pull out the summery blues with turquoise accessories. Pair with stacked gold heels or wedges and swap the self-fabric belt with a gold one. The perfect dress for wedding guests looking for an effortlessly chic outfit that’s both comfortable and stylish.  

Equally we can see this beauty with casual tan flat sandals, worn unbelted and off shoulder for easy-breezy days by the coast or backyard barbecues.  

Fit

That’s me, Fin wearing the XS/8. I’m 5'2 so it’s pretty much maxi on me but will look great worn a few inches above the ankle. I measure 33 inch Chest, 25 inch waist, 34 hip. It’s 52 inches in length from shoulder seam to hem. Pretty much true to size (similar to LK Bennet / Biden / Mint Velvet). The shirred elastic bodice and relaxed waist mean you can size up or down according to whether you like more fitted or relaxed.

  • High Waisted, sits just above the belly button for a flattering silhouette
  • Elasticated ‘puffy’ three-quarter sleeve which can be ruched up to above the elbow to make a ‘short sleeve’
  • Tiered skirt, midaxi length (52 inches from shoulder to hem) 
  • Shirred bodice and elasticated should
  • Comes with self-fabric belt
  • Softly squared - neckline – not too low so can be worn for work ‘on-shoulder’ or show off those lovely shoulders for an off-duty look
