Why we made this?
'BEACH TO BAR' MIDAXI SKIRT IN BLACK EXOTIC FLOWER
As the name suggests, our versatile skirts will take you from days chilling at the beach to swishy social occasions by just changing your accessories. We’ve created a coordinating shirt which will give you a ‘dress-look’ when worn together. Made from 100% organic block printed cotton, flatteringly fitted around the hips (without being tight!). The high-rise waistband with a zip (an update from last year’s elastic waist) sports a multi-tiered floaty silhouette that looks elegant and feels comfortable. The skirt comes with an attached belt in the same fabric which you can tie to the back, front or side.
NOTE: This item is created using traditional block printing methods and is hand-made by artisans. The 'print' therefore is not always in the same position as shown in these images and can contain minor unique variations.
Style Notes
Bursting with multi-colours you are spoilt for choice in terms of styling this one. Pop on some flip-flops or trainers for a casual look. Choose the matching blouse for dressy occasions and pair with some heels with one of the bright colours or opt for a simple black sandal. Pop on a classic black shirt or a camisole for formal occasions and you are sure to get lots of compliments.
Fit
We’ve worked hard to make sure the sizing is consistent with the average UK brand so take your ‘usual size ‘as brands like Next, LK Bennet and Boden. The elastic means you can size up or down. It’s designed to be ‘midaxi’ but looks great as a maxi too. Daisy is wearing the matching blouse, is 5 ft 10 and wearing a size 8/xs with 26 inch waist. I am wearing mine with a black sweater and I am 5ft 2’ so it’s maxi on me! The skirt measures 97 CM from waist to hem.
