Why we made this?
'JOYFUL' DRESS IN BLUE IRIS
Our iconic shirt dress ‘Joy’ has a ‘sister’… Allow me to introduce 'Joyful’!! This exquisite dress highlights the beauty of Artisan block printing techniques which are a signature of our brand.
We’ve taken the best bits of our best-selling ‘Joy’ shirtdress (flattering A-line, cinched but comfortable waistline, structured collar and… pockets), and added a few details. Like a fuller, gathered full-length sleeve – which feels very lux. We’ve swapped the classic and slightly more ‘formal’ white collar for a contrast block printed collar. We’ve repeated this contrast border on the self-belt and cuffs and along the centre closure to create a really couture and unique look. It’s understated, chic elegance which, dare we say it… looks way more than its price tag.
NOTE: This item is created using traditional block printing methods and is hand-made by artisans. The 'print' therefore is not always in the same position as shown in these images and can contain minor unique variations. All our dresses have pockets and come with a self-fabric belt.
Style Notes
This elegant dress is going to need some elegant heels, add a white pointed heel, or even a white kitten heel. Keep the jewellery minimal for this one, all eyes on the dress! Just add some bold earrings. You could even switch it up and add a white belt. Alternatively, style with some flats for a more comfortable feel.
